Keeping You Current!

Hello, I am Kelli Keclik, Night Information Services Librarian and library liaison for the School of Extended Education. The purpose of this blog is to keep distance education students and faculty aware of new and notable resources and services offered by the Ball State University Libraries.

Distance education students and faculty can access the same resources and services as any other library user. Among the library resources available to distance learners are
  • CardCat: The University Libraries' online card catalog
  • Databases: Over 170 databases, many of which provide full-text access
  • Ask a Librarian: Research assistance by phone, email or Live Chat
  • Interlibrary Loan: Submit requests for journal articles and other circulating materials
  • Research Guides: Online guides to resources and databases
The Distance Learning Library Services web page is a great place to learn more about library resources and services available to distance learners.

Please don't hesitate to contact me with your information and research needs. I may be reached by
  • Phone: 765-285-1101 (Reference Desk) or 765-285-3326 (office)
  • Email: kkeclik@bsu.edu
  • Live Chat: Sunday through Thursday from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and 11p.m. to 1 a.m
Other librarians are available to help by phone, email, and Live Chat throughout the day and on weekends. See the Ask a Librarian page for a complete list of service hours.
